Al Vander Woude’s 1968 Dodge Charger III Concept Based Funny Car

The 1968 Dodge Charger III concept was the most aerodynamic car built by Chrysler Corporation. The low, long and wide body made a perfect platform to build a sleek funny car. Just as the Charger III Concept was designed to host a 426 Hemi, nothing but Hemi power would do. The Charger III Concept based Flying Dutchman was campaigned by Al Vander Woude in 1970. The Charger III Concept and the Flying Dutchman inspired models and the Twin Mill Hot Wheels car.
