In my opinion, after this Rode Videomic Pro test, it is THE best shotgun mic you can buy if your content is being created for youtube or other online platforms. It's definitely the best mic for vlogging ! Ok so there is one model above it, the Rode Videomic Pro plus, but once your video is encoded for youtube you won't notice the difference in quality. So considering the cost, I think my Rode videomic pro test has shown this is the best shotgun mic for the job.
