MutiARTS showcases a co-creative healing arts in a Zimbabwe/Malawi exchange with a focus on Mbira – refers to both the instrument and music of the Shona people of Zimbabwe as inscribed in 2020 on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity - and Vimbuza Dance, a fundamental healing dance of the indigenous healthcare systems of the Tumbuka people of northern Malawi - inscribed in 2008 on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
