Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has approached the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court's stay on a trial court's order granting him bail in an ED case related to an alleged liquor policy scam. Kejriwal's lawyers have requested an urgent hearing on Monday.

Initially, the trial court granted bail on a personal bond of Rs.1 lakh with certain conditions. However, the ED argued that they were not given proper opportunity to present their case and claimed the trial court overlooked their evidence tracing Rs. 45 crores.

Special Judge Niyay Bindu, who granted bail, noted the lack of clear evidence against Kejriwal and emphasized the need for an unbiased investigation. Stay tuned for further updates on this legal battle.
