In this video, I share with you how I create a Facebook cover photo and optimize it for both mobile and desktop.

The platform I use to perform this task is none other than Canva.

Canva is a very resourceful graphics platform that creators can use to create a number of items for their marketing efforts.

Canva has both a free version and a paid version although you can get quite a lot done just with the free version alone.

According to Facebook, cover photos display at 820 pixels wide by 312 pixels tall on desktop computers and 640 pixels wide by 360 pixels tall on smartphones.

That video will help and another tool I am reminded of that also is a great one to try although I have not actually tried it myself is Snappa.com.

Now a lot of you or maybe only a small number may be wondering why all the fuss about Facebook covers in the first place.

It's like this.

Your Facebook cover photo is indeed like your digital business card and you want to set a good first impression.

This is the first thing people will see who interact with your brand and of course, you want them to come back again and again.
