Скачать или смотреть TM TUTO: How to disable 'computing shadows' (ENGLISH)

Reminder: I am not using my voice in this video. Instead, it's in text.

This method works for Trackmania Nations Forever, Trackmania United Forever, Trackmania United, Trackmania 2 (Maniaplanet), and while using TMUnlimiter.

1. Make sure that you're currently not in TM. This involves going to the 'Compatibility' settings.

2. Open your Trackmania game. The menu should appear.

3. When it appears like in the video, go to 'Configure', go to 'Advanced', then go to 'Compatibility'.

4. You should be in 'Display Compatibility' by now. Go to the right side and you will find 'LightMap Compute'.

5. Click on the little tab and select 'NoShadows'. This will automatically tell TM to remove the 'Computing Shadows' pop-up from displaying in your map.

6. Then, exit out of the menus by clicking 'ok', 'ok', then 'save'. Now play the game.

The pop-up should not be there when you first open your track, a replay, autosave, or even in the 'Access Tools' section of the track editor (the little hammer tab inside the editor). So now, when you overwrite a track with another, you won't get the pop-up :)

1:07 , you don't even have to race to make sure the shadows work or not. As long as you save, it's ok.
