For makeup noobs like me, following a tutorial might not be the easiest.

Being a newbie to makeup wasn't a big issue until I came to South Korea. That's when I started hearing comments like "That's not how we do it here." and "Where did you learn how to put on makeup like that?" So I decided to take this as a chance to pick up some makeup tips from our Youtube makeup experts.

This is my first time using something called a makeup sponge, multiple brushes and bronzer. I also try out new products like "Highlighter beam" and "Eye-doll mascara."

It looks a little clunky and awkward being the first time making a video (see how I don't know where to make eye contact?) and a little embarrassing showing my dark circles to the entire internet video universe, but I thought this would help me track my progress and get me some tips and advice from all you other makeup users out there.

Also, still working out the best settings for video using my Canon dslr rebel t6i EOD 750D, so please excuse the fuzziness/not as stellar quality as you might have seen in other makeup tutorials.

Like I said, this isn't a makeup tutorial, but a makeup noob trying to follow a great tutorial by the lovely Sophia.
