Eligibility for SL. No. l to 23:
Candidates who have passed the PG examination in the concerned lallied subject with 55% marks or above /B Grade in the seven point scale or above (50% marks for#SC/ST/ OBC (non creamy layer), Differently abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the UGC from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991) and those who have appeared the qualifying examination and waiting for results are eligible to apply for provisional admission into Pre-Ph.D. Programme.
The number of vacancies will be determined at the time of provisional registration. Only those candidates who successfuly complete the Pre-Ph.D. course work with a minimum of B Grade in the 7-point scale will be eligible for registration to the PhD. programme. University Fellowships, wherever applicable, will be given with effect from the
date of Ph.D. Registration.
Eligibility for SL. No. 24:
Candidate who have passed (a) M.Tech//M.E in relevant discipline with at least 6.5 CGPA in 10 point scale or 60 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized Institute/University or (b) B.Tech/B.E. in relevant discipline with at least 8.5 CGPA or 80 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized technical institute or university with a valid GATE score. The Minimum CGPA/marks shall be relaxed by 0.5 CGPA or 5 marks in case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD categories. Online application shall be submitted through Manipur University Website (www.manipuruniv.ac.in). An application fee of Rs. 500/- and Rs.300/- for ST/SCPWD
candidates has to be paid at the same application portal. Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS shall be made as per the norms of the Government of India.
