This SAP2Go video explains how we can create cost elements automatically in SAP ECC. Cost Elements are used in Controlling module of SAP and originate out of existing General Ledger accounts - which are revenue or expense (profit and loss) accounts. Cost Elements can be created automatically once we create a new GL account. This video will show you how we can configure that. Please be aware that this is only applicable to SAP ECC, as of SAP S/4HANA cost elements and G/L accounts are merged to G/L accounts.
