In the Grass Valley School District students are inspired to develop the skills necessary to live successful lives, through an exciting curriculum that promotes academic success. Utilizing a variety of strategies, students are provided a rigorous academic program aligned with the Common Core State Standards. The Bell Hill Academy, offers two K-4 programs. This innovative program offers a Spanish/English Dual Immersion program and a Global Studies strand, where students learn the core curriculum through thematic teaching. Our K-8 educational complex provides an academic program focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics instruction. Students are provided with an array of enrichment classes that connects with real world learning. Grass Valley Charter School, a K-8 Expeditionary Learning Program, provides curriculum through engaging expeditions. Recognized as one of the top schools in implementation, students experience adventure in and out of the classroom walls.
