Barbados - Godings Bay, Mullins Beach and Gibbs Bay

Day 3 - Tues - Jan 29, 2019

We walked from Speightstown to Mullins Beach, about 1.2 miles and we took the coastline as much as we could. All the beaches are for public use but getting to them by the road can be tricky. It was really fun exploring the coastline. The resorts and people's homes are gorgeous, especially on the west coast/Caribbean side (also called "Platinum Coast"). Once arriving at Mullins Beach there was a private beach club that charges a lot for chairs and umbrellas ($75 BBD/$37.50 USD per person). We rented some chairs and an umbrella from a local for $60 BBD ($15 USD per person). There was also a place to buy snacks and alcohol. We snorkeled at Mullins Beach and in between there and Gibbs Bay. Pretty good; not a whole lot of coral but saw plenty of fish, a snake and an eel. We walked south for a little way before catching the bus back to Rockley where we had dinner at Blakey's Bar & Restaurant.
