Ok fine, here it is… AURORA NAILS!

Hiya Duck in today's video I’m finally giving in and doing the very much requested Aurora Borealis Nails! Let's get this over with…

We have Cheryl in today she already has some tips so I’m gonna start by priming the natural nail then we can get straight into the Acrylic and the goal here is to create a flat plain on the top and then two on the sides and that’s where the angel paper is going to sit so ill build this up with small beads that I have good control over.

When you are happy with that we can move on to cutting our Angel paper into shape
I'm using Heptagons for the top of this design and triangles for the sides we tried using Octangles but it wasn’t quite what we wanted. 😂

Now I’m gonna file these and get my plains nice and sharp and extra flat so I’m using a 180 grit file on a metal file board and then I’ll buff those as well and give them a dust off and clean over.

Then I’m going to top coat these using my Gloss no wipe Top coat that is important, then I can give them a cure in just 15 seconds, and then its time to use the Chrome so I have 2 Chrome powders here that I like I’m going to burnish them into the nail and finish off the cure.

Now I’ll need some hard gel so I’ll be using a fiber gel here I’ll pick up a shard and dip that into the Gel then I can lay that onto the nail press out the excess and cure it.

Now ill give my nails a slip layer of the Fiber Gel and then I can float a big bead down the nail and add volume then ill flip the nail over to allow the product to pull down and create the apex and then we can cure it, and the cap with another thin layer and cure that.

Now we can file these into their final shape give them a buff then ill dust them over and give them a clean and then it's time for crystals! Then we can give these a final topcoat for the full Aurora effect!
