Searching for the best SUV might be hard, and it's hard because the todays selection is tremendously large. Everyone makes SUVs which means not all of them are great, but many of them are affordable. I found the 2021 Ford Explorer to be in a sweet spot because it does everything really good without making you go bankrupt. And the key to that is the new platform it rides on which is RWD but can be modified to have 4WD as well, And It gives you an incredibly comfortable ride as well as impressive stability and handling. But that's not all, I honestly think that this is the maximum footprint a family SUV should have and try to prove me wrong. A Ford Expedition would be too large and pointless. Because the Explorer has all the space you need and even more safety features compared to a Limited Expedition Trim. Keep in mind that I am referring only to those who want SUVs only(I still believe a real Minivan is a cooler option)). Explorer is a hot seller for Ford which means there was a lot of thought put into it as well as future plans for improvement.
