The factory Remote Keyless Entry unit on this car has given me intermittent trouble for the past 2 years so I finally decided to rip the old one out and toss in a brand-new aftermarket unit! The problem with the factory unit was it would not lock when pressing the lock button on the key fob. So I would have to resort to locking the car with the key or electric lock button. Then when it was time to unlock the car, it would not unlock the car and I would have to use the key and then the horn would start blaring, everyone looking at the person trying to steal the car and I just finally had enough.
