Experimenting with a new (and probably flawed) 18650 building method: No soldering or spot welding!

Previously I enjoyed building a custom 18650 battery for my portable Monoprice Mini delta 3D printer. And then some of the cells failed, limiting overall voltage and making my charger unhappy. I wanted to build a replacement that is serviceable, as a trial run for a much bigger, more expensive and powerful battery I’ve had planned for way too long. In this video, I present you with my experimental build and how I have tried to solve some problems with this approach.

This is not intended as a guide! This method is currently unproven.

My MPMD no longer uses a heated bed, so this battery will have a very easy life. The future battery however, has 320 cells configured to produce 72V and a lot more current. Please help me refine the concept in readiness for that.
