NOTE: You will not be able to transfer Pokémon from any previous version to Pokémon Sun/Moon until they update Poke Bank in January 2017.

Hey there! This is a relatively piss poor video made in order to show the extremely easy and not tedious process that is transferring your pokemon from all the way back in Emerald to ORAS,XY, and SM.

In order to actively transfer any pokemon from Emerald to SM you need to first:
1. Have a DS and a 3DS
2. Have at least 6 pokemon in your PC in Emerald.
3. Plug Emerald into your DS's GBA card slot and insert your copy of Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, SoulSilver, or HeartGold into the DS card slot.
4. Open and ensure you have at least gotten the National Pokedex after beating the Elite Four in DPPSSHG.
5. On the main menu screen of DPPSSHG, there should be an option allowing you to transfer from Emerald, Sapphire, or Ruby, click on that.
6. This will allow you to pick 6 pokemon in your PC from RSE, and transfer them to DPPSSHG.
7. Then have your other 3DS/DS handy for your copy of Black,White,Black 2, or White 2 and have that copy inserted into the DS/3DS card slot.
8. Get to the point in BWBW2 where you may use the PokeTransfer Lab on Route 15.
9. Go into the lab and talk to scientist who will then begin the process of connecting to your DS, where you will then need to press DS download play and select the Pokémon Transfer game ID which will then allow you to select 6 pokemon to transfer.
10. Play the mini-game to catch all 6 pokemon you'd like to transfer and they will then be placed into your PC in BWBW2.
11. To then transfer those pokemon from BWBW2, to Poke Bank and then ORAS,XY,SM, you will need to have both Poke Bank, downloaded and have purchased the subscription needed to use it, as well as Poke Transporter which will allow you to transfer pokemon from BWBW2 to Poke Bank.
12. Put all the pokemon you want to be transferred to Poke Transporter in your FIRST PC box in BWBW2 and open Poke Transporter and it will transfer them to Poke Bank.
13. Put you copy of ORAS,XY, or SM into your 3DS card slot.
14. Open Poke Bank, then transfer the box of pokemon in Poke Bank named "Transport Box" into one of the 100 Poke Bank boxes or transfer those pokemon directly to your copy of ORAS,XY, or SM.
15. You should now be finally be done! Congratulations! Was it worth it?
