All About Clownfish - Care, History, Breeding and more in your reef tank

Clownfish like the Percula and Ocellaris are great first fish for your reef tank. They're colorful, they'll be out and swimming around most of the time, and they're easy to take care of. Clownfish make great additions to older tanks as well, and don't require anemones to do well. Breeding clownfish is also relatively easy compared to other reef fish and they make a great first fish for saltwater aquarium breeders as well.

Clownfish care is almost as easy as it can get, even for beginners. This video gives a nice how to for you to follow - and I'd recommend a good quality dry pellet fish food like those made by New Life Spectrum or something similar. Your clownfish will also enjoy frozen foods, but avoid brine shrimp as they're not super nutritious though they make a nice snack for your anemonefish.
