Stockholm 1920: Gamla Staden - Remastered 4K 60fps

A compilation of films and still photos från the Stockholm Old Town.Several nice panoramas of the central island. Stadshuset is still being constructed, the old railway bridge is open, in the distance the telephone tower can be seen. For this film I have used the original titlecards and integrated the text ontop of the images.

What is amazing is that most of these views looks identical today, over 100 years later. The horses and carts have been replaced by Ubers and electric scooters and the people wear less hats.

The footage has been remastered to 4K 60 frames per second using various AI and software. Sound has been carefully added manually for ambiance and finally the images has been colorized using AI to present this time travel experience.
This is an artistic interpretation of the original footage and is by no means intended to replace the original film and its historical value. The color and sound is NOT historically accurate and it is added for ambiance.
