Alexandria fearlessly dove into one of the most challenging aspects of teenage life: learning to set boundaries while navigating the minefield of well-meaning advice. Through our Storytelling for Film & TV Program, she crafted a nuanced story that doesn't offer easy answers but instead explores the messy reality of personal growth.

With guidance from Teaching Artist Lily Sarosi and CWP's Young Adult Program Manager Miranda Agnew, Alexandria learned that the most compelling characters are those caught between good intentions and imperfect execution—just like real people.

"Cut Them Off" reminds us that sometimes the hardest part isn't knowing what needs to change, but understanding how to change it. Alexandria's film captures the delicate balance between protecting yourself and maintaining the relationships that matter. 🎬
