STONEGROUND ATTA BROWN CHAPATI RECIPE

Ingredients:
7 cups of Maisha Stone Ground Wholemeal Atta Flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
6 tablespoons of Sunflower oil
3 cups of hot water

Preparation:
Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl
Add the salt and sugar into the flour mixture and mix
Create a wall in the center of flour mixture and add the sunflower oil then mix together
Add the hot water into the mixture to form a dough
Knead for about 8 minutes then let the dough rest for 1 hour
Divide the dough into equal portions and form each into a round ball
Roll out the dough (add oil to avoid it sticking) then divide the dough into 3, then roll to layer
Roll out the dough then place them into a hot pan while adding the oil until both sides are golden brown
Serve with your favorite stew or hot drink
