Keeping India moving: How one integrated logistics, services and transportation conglomerate with a unique infrastructure and technology backbone company is responding to COVID-19.

The COVID-19 pandemic, has disrupted almost all global sectors, but none more so than logistics.

When COVID-19 hit India, our initial response was to safeguard our employees by following the guidelines set by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the states we operate in, we took all measures, providing hand sanitizers, fumigating office spaces, maintaining social distancing between staff members, operators at ports and wearing suitable Protective equipment.

Alongside these measures, we were charged with moving food grains and other essentials for the millions of Indian’s that rely on our services. We began speaking to our network of port authorities, suppliers, drivers and manufacturers, even struck key player partnerships to pool our resources to ensure that movement could continue, from cross-border to intra-state and last-mile deliveries.

We all have come together as partners to move goods as efficiently and reliably as possible to restock empty shelves and get essential products to hospitals and health care staff members. Our nation is counting on us to deliver.
