This paradox led me to turn to a figure commonly considered the embodiment of cynicism and cunning—Niccolò Machiavelli. In this work, I have explored his writings not as a call to evil, but as a survival guide for those who wish to preserve their values in an unjust world.

My research has led me to an uncomfortable yet liberating conclusion. True virtue is not passive naivety, but an active and deliberate strategy. It requires not only pure intentions but also the strength to defend them and the wisdom to understand the hidden motives of others. This is an attempt to view the world not as it should be, but as it is, in order to stop being a victim of circumstance and become an active player capable of defending what truly matters.
