This was the aim of 133 backers in the crowdfunding project that made this documentary possible.

YOUNG JAPANESE KENDAMA SLAYERS “YASU and SHINNOSUKE” features not only Kendama tricks but also includes precious interview footage about the players. It dives into their relationships with their fathers and their role in their Kendama lives.

We hope that by sharing this documentary with the world, we can change the image of Kendama, share how they approach Kendama, and inspire the next generation of Kendama players around the world.
