Typically there's a lot of planning, and preparation that goes into developing / sculpting the characters that I create but for this piece in particular it was made on a whim. I tried trusting my gut and instinctual reaction
instead of logistical thought. The piece was finished in only 3 days time; the quickest turn around so far, and I'm pretty happy with how he turned out. The Spider Skull is not an evil creature, but a misunderstood being who just wants a friend.
