FFXIV - Hephaistos Savage P8S Clear - P1 & 2 (DRK MT POV)

Plz ignore the scramble opener at the start of phase 2. I forgot to repull Rampart and it just went downhill from there lmao

I'm honestly just so damn glad to have cleared this fight. From barely managing to hit enrage in the doorboss in PF to clearing the rest of the fight within 1 and a half lockouts (28 pulls total) with a competent group. I feel very proud of myself for picking up mechanics super quickly and able to apply it on the fly.

In total this tier took me about 30 hours to clear indivdiually. (6 weeks with about a 5 week gap in between lol) Which isn't bad but I definitely would've liked a group that could prog faster during week 1. Doorboss was also the biggest nightmare I've ever experienced. Never again do I wish to do that shit in PF.

All things considered I still had a lot of fun with this tier. The fights are really unique, creative and overall well done.

Tanking this tier compared to healer is also something else that I was not used to. This really taught me the importance of mitigation and how tanks are so responsible for team overall.

Amazing experience. I'm also really glad to have finished off this tier as DRK, as that was my preferred class going into this savage tier. So it feels really bitter sweet to get what I wanted last second lol.

I also need to clean my rotation up for the second phase. I'm nowhere used to the fight yet as my mit timings + opener is still completely jank. Was entirely just focused on mechs. I accidentally used blood spiller + Delirium after HC2 right before my pot window + damage buff. So I lost a huge amount of damage there.

Again just so glad to have finished off the tier its been a long road lol
