Chopper was playing a game of fetch and there was a hole in the ground that I had no idea about and Chopper twisted his leg and pulled a muscle. His vet is really great and made an appointment next day. I didn't think to take video of the vet, I'm sorry. I just wanted to show why we won't have training or working videos up for a while and to also prove that I take great care of my service dog and pull him out of working when the slightest thing happens. He will be going back to the vet if it's not much better in a week but, as you can see here, in just a few days it has gotten a ton better.

He takes Cosequin DS joint health supplimemts (professional line) to ensure his joints stay lubercated and as healthy as possible. He is also on a high protein diet with now freeze dried raw, coconut oil, and crushed coral for calcuim. So as you can see that I take great care to ensure his joints, bones, and muscles stay in good health. His paw, leg, bones, and joints were all checked. All are fine. It his leg muscle.

We will not be using the weighted vest either and if I use it at all it won't be for at least a month and then it will be slow and gradual. I am looking at getting a scooter so I can run him without the weighted vest trying to ensure he gets proper exercise without it. The weighted vest may not be working out as when he plays fetch he is a massive jumper and when a dog has weight on them and jumps, the force on their joints when they come down is so much more. The vet said to not use it for at least a month and then if we use it again to take it much slower. He had the weighted vest on when it happened. Though he was running back to me with the toy, not jumping, but it is very hard to stop his jumping when playing fetch and wearing it so that may not be the best when playing fetch on uneven ground.

Please don't post hate and if you do it will be deleted. I am a poor disabled person training a service dog without any help and doing the very best I can for my dog. Hate is never necessary. If you need to advise of things I can improve in I am receptive to that but do so respectfully. I am being as transparent as possible and I don't have to be so please respect that and be respectful.
