Violence broke out at an iPhone manufacturing plant, Taiwan-headquartered Wistron Corporation, near Bengaluru, Karnataka, as scores of went on a rampage over issues related to payment of salary, police said. The Karnataka government condemned the violence at the manufacturing facility which took place in Kolar district of Karnataka. According to police, as many as 132 people have been detained in connection to the violence. As per the latest update, a local president of the Students' Federation of India (SFI) named Comrade Srikanth was arrested in connection with the violence that took place at the Wistron's iPhone manufacturing plant.
