فنستخلص من قصة
داوود وسليمان
بأنكم أيها العرب أيها المسلمون
We conclude from the story of Prophets David and Solomon that O Arabs and Muslims! Be like them
هكذا كونوا
إذا أقمتم الدول بدأ من سيدنا محمد.
بقول سيدنا داوود عليه الصلاة والسلام
when you establish your states.
It is said that after Prophet David became
لما تنكر يوما بعد أن صار ملكا
على بني إسرائيل
the king of the Israelites, he disguised
as an ordinary man asking people:
فغير هيئته ودخل بين الناس متنكرا
يسأل الناس ما تقولون في داوود.
"What do you think of David?"
فبعضهم فكان الناس كلهم يثنون عليه
ويمدحونه.
All people praised and extolled him.
Of course never can be oppression, aggression,
حكم نبي في ظلم؟
في عدوان؟ في تعالي؟
high-handedness or dictatorship
during the reign of Prophets.
في تسلط ؟
فقيض له ملكا بصورة آدمي
فسأله فيمن سأله:
Back to the story, then God appointed
an angel in the shape of a man.
"ما تقول في داوود؟"
قال:
Prophet David asked him:
"What do you think of David?"
"نعم الرجل لولا خصلة فيه."
قال بقولوا
The man answered: "He is an excellent man
but he has one flaw." This reminds me of a joke.
شافوا واحد مغربي
قال له: "المغاربة ما في أحسن منهم
It is said that someone said to a Moroccan
man: "Moroccan people are the best
وما في أطيب منهم وما في كذا
قلهم بس فيهم واحدة."
and kindest people on earth
but they have one flaw."
و غضب هيك
وتنازق قله هي.
The Moroccan man got mad
and asked: "What is it?"
بالأذن
من المغاربة يعني نزقين.
The man answered: "This one i.e. getting antsy."
فقال نعم الرجل لولا خصلة فيه
كان كامل.
So when David asked the man about himself,
the man answered: "He is an excellent man
قله فسأله عنها ما هي؟
قال:
but he has one flaw."
Prophet David asked him: "What is it?"
"لولا أنه يأكل ويطعم عياله
من بيت المال."
The man answered: "He eats and feeds
his family from the public treasury.
أكله من صندوق الدولة وعائلته
كمان يأكلون من صندوق الدولة
"ولو أكل من عمل يده لتمت فضائله."
If he ate from the earnings of his
own hands, his virtues would be complete."
فعند ذلك سأل داوود ربه
أن يعلمه صنعة يستغني بها
عن بيت المال.
When David heard that, he asked God to teach
him a trade to dispense with the public treasury.
فعلمه الله صنعة الدروع.
فكان يعمل كل يوم درعا
So God taught him the art of making armors.
Thus, he would make one armor everyday
ويبيعها
ب 6 ألاف
ينفق ثلثها على نفسه وعائلته
and sell it for 6000. He would spend one third
of his earnings on himself and his family
وثلثيها على الفقراء والمساكين.
هاد نموذج الملك في الإسلام.
and two thirds on the poor and the needy.
Indeed, David is the exemplary king in Islam.
هلق ملوك الإسلام هيك ماشين ؟
سيدنا أبو بكر مشي
Are Muslim kings like that?
هيك. لما بويع بالخلافة
كان له دكان رجع فتح الدكان
After Companion Abu Bakr had been pledged allegiance to the caliphate, he went to open his shop.
قالوا له شوا هاد
Some companions saw him selling milk.
They objected that and asked:
حليب
ودكان؟ قال لهم:
"You are the caliph!
How come you sell milk?"
"إذا ما اشتغلت بالدكان
عيالي تموت من جوعها."
He answered: "If I don’t work
in my shop, my family will starve."
فقالوا له لا نفرض لك 4 دراهم كل يوم
لحتى تتفرغ.
They said: "We allocate 4 dirhams for you everyday to dedicate yourself to work full-time.'
سيدنا عمر كان يقول
"أنا في بيت المال
Caliph Omar said: "My relation with the public
treasury is like the sponsorer of an orphan.
كولي اليتيم إن استغنيت
استعففت."
If I have money, I will refrain from taking from it.
إذا في عندي شيء يكفني
من مالي الخاص.
لا أخذ راتب
وإن احتجت أخذت بالمعروف
But if I need to take from it, I will take
the minimum amount to buy my basic needs."
بقدر الضرورة.
أي في دولة بالعالم ملكها أو رئيسها
من ريكن إلى غربتشوف في ديمقراطية
Has there ever been a king or a president
like Regen or Gorbachev etc.
في مواساة للشعب
مثل ما هو في الدستور الإسلامي؟
or a democracy that comforts people
like the Muslim constitution?
