The Affordable Housing Crisis Is Worse Than You Think

A recent study found that housing is unaffordable for half of U.S. renters. With 99% of average Americans being unable to purchase a home, the majority are left to the rental market, which is currently in crisis. This is due to a number of reasons, but the overarching theme is corporate greed and capitalism. In this video, I discuss how the profit-driven model of housing is failing Americans and fueling homelessness, political corruption in the real estate industy, poverty, and financial uncertainty.
