I was able to attend Anaheim 1, the first race of the 2026 Supercross season! What an epic event this year! A nearly packed Angel's Stadium with an awesome track layout! Ken Roczen 94 started a domino effect unintentionally when he cut in front of Malcom Stewart 27 who then had to slow up and double a big triple. At that point Justin Barcia 51 hit the triple and his mid-air trajectory set him on a collision course to land on top of Stewart. Barcia's rear tire caught Malcom's left should, breaking Malcom's shoulder and catapulting Barcia to the ground head first, then rag dolling a cartwheel like front flip before landing in a heap on the corner berm which then caused a dog pile in the corner. Amazingly Barcia was able to walk out of the hospital the next day with no injuries except bruising and soreness. It was great to see Eli Tomac 3 leading the night on his new KTM and to take the win! Go Tomac!
