Having focussed on the Apple platform from early Mac OS X to now, it’s fair to say that most of my expertise is in the iOS stack (and the vintage parts, like Objective-C).

But more and more projects that come my way demand cross-platform delivery, as people want to go where their customers are and businesses want employees to be productive on their own devices.

In this talk, I’ll share some of the technology and workflow tricks I’ve used to adapt to this landscape where deep platform expertise has become less important to focus on than quickly delivering valuable software to anyone who needs it.

Bio: Graham Lee is a research software engineer in Oxford University. Having grown to love Objective-C in his undergraduate NeXTSTEP computing lab, he has spent most of his career writing Mac and iOS software but has always had a soft spot for Linux too… and the Amiga.
