Thelma Schoonmaker on Powell and Pressburger

Three-time Oscar-winning editor Thelma Schoonmaker reflects on the influential career of British filmmakers Michael Powell and Emrich Pressburger, the former of whom she was married. Powell and Pressburger are most famously known for their classic film THE LIFE AND DEATH OF COLONEL BLIMP (‘43), A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH (‘46), BLACK NARCISSUS (‘47) and THE RED SHOES ('48).
