The Western Michigan Broncos are taking on the Michigan State Spartans at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing on Friday evening.

Both MSU and WMU have relatively new faces leading their universities, athletic departments, and football programs.

For the Spartans, President Kevin Guskiewicz began his tenure in October of last year. He hired Athletic Director J Batt in June, and football coach Jonathan Smith is entering his second season.
