Ingredients:

1 tablespoon ghee
¾ teaspoon cumin seeds
2 cloves
3 black peppercorns
2 green cardamom pods
½ tablespoon peanuts, roasted
¼ teaspoon minced ginger
1 green chilli, slit, deseeded
75 grams potato (about ¾ medium potato), peeled and cut into a large dice, boiled till fork tender
100 grams sama rice (barnyard millet or samvat ke chawal), about ½ cup, washed and soaked in water for 30 minutes, drained
¾ teaspoon rock salt (sendha namak) or to taste
10 cashew nuts, split, fried or roasted
1 tablespoon coriander leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon lime juice
