Executive Engineer of the Mechanical Engineering Division South kashmir, Javed Ahmad, said that due to continuous snowfall in the Kashmir Valley, snow clearance work from major roads has been completed in the first phase. In the second phase, snow removal operations on inner and link roads are currently underway.

He assured the public that there is no need to panic and informed that control rooms have been set up for public convenience so that people can contact authorities if needed. Javed Ahmad also appealed to the people not to park vehicles at wrong places and not to create any kind of obstruction, so that snow clearance operations can continue smoothly.
