The Thin Red Line (1998) - 'Light' scene [1080]

This scene is part of the calm after the 'Journey to the Line' storm, as the soldiers capture the hilltop. Lt. Col. Tall (Nick Nolte) stops to reflect, just after firing Capt. Staros (Elias Koteas) and sending him home. This music is found on the soundtrack CD, at the end of the track 'Light'.

Hans Zimmer composed one of his most beautiful and popular scores for this WW2 film set in the lush island of Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands. Due to the tonnes of footage and hours of music being heavily edited down to form the final film, some music on the CD isn't heard in the film, and some of the best pieces in the film remain unreleased.
