KUMBHALGARH FORT


kumbhalgarh, also known as the Great Wall of India, is a fortress on the westerly range of Aravali Hills in the Rajsamand district of the Rajasthan state in India. Situated approximately 84km from Udaipur, it was built during the 15th century by RANA KUMBHA.

It is of immense sentimental significance for the people being the birthplace of Mewar’s legendary king Maharana Pratab.

Kumbhalgarh Fort is renowned for its impressive array of 360 temples, out of which 300 are Jain temples and 60 are Hindu Temples.

Kumbhalgarh requirer one full day to visit the most important attractions. There are several wonderful destinations around Kumbhalgarh like Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Mount Abu and Jodhpur which can be visited by adding few additional days to the trip.

Not only is this site a op tourist attraction in Rajasthan, but it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its magnificent structures, opulent palaces, variety of temples, and colourful chattris.
