Late Season Keep Going a Little More HD 1080p

The winter weather has turned and we are enjoying unusually mild temperatures which makes the hawking very enjoyable. My dogs continue to provide me flights, often flights that I would not otherwise have found. Mylo has really began to shine in his 3rd season. Griff my younger wirehair has much to learn but is styling up and beginning to figure it out. The young hybrid of course is why I am pressing on and he is pretty much where I needed him to be before I close his season. There is a consistent performance and behaviour. Each flight with him is deliberate and thought out as I view each as a lesson or qualifier as it were for the next level in becoming an accomplished game hawk. I try dearly to avoid set backs like not serving the bird, or low odds set ups, which are a huge disservice to a young falcon. This season has been a try out to see if he will reach the level required to permanently join our hunting team and it looks like he will.

However, today I noticed a new habit I need to break and that is he seems to know when the flush is imminent and begins to stoop before the huns flush. That's very gyr like behaviour and he is a smart falcon, something that i've commented more than once before. He seems to take more of the gyr traits in the hybrid mix, certainly compared to my other hybrid that seems more evenly centred. I deliberately stopped running in for the flush because this is a cue, instead I walk in, but still, the falcon knows now that where the dog is pointing, there is game and when I approach good things happen. For the dogs sake, I don't drive through those points with the truck to create a degree of unpredictability by flushing with my truck. If they were marked huns in a dig that could be approached by a vehicle, then this would be easier but most are not. I will have to watch this in the remaining days of this season and into the next.
