Fitting a new radio to the 2002 Subaru Liberty

A complete (and boring) disassembly guide to aid you in the institution of a new radio, or in my case, an old radio in your ageing Subaru!

Total time it took was just under two hours, so you'd want to set aside some time to do this.

Total costs for me were (prices in Australian dollars):
Impreza radio without tape: $25
Diversity antenna adaptor: $15
Slightly older radio with tape deck: $40

Again, when buying a newer radio make sure you match the antenna connector to your vehicle and check if it has a diversity connector or not.


P.S. Yes, I did paint my wheels white for the wild Land Rover Defender look, but mainly because I got bored of having hubcaps/wheel covers falling off!
