A Ribeira de Alte percorre a localidade com a sua água fresca que se faz ouvir por toda a povoação, conferindo um ar fresco e puro à Aldeia de Alte.
A água é ponto importante nesta Aldeia, onde ainda hoje nos deparamos com as suas fontes e nascentes que durante séculos foram local de encontro das mulheres da aldeia que aí se deslocavam para encherem os cântaros de água e lavarem a roupa.
The village of Alte
