The instruction manual didn't help me much but fortunately this seems to be very similar to other laser distance meters, so I was able to figure out how to use it from various Youtube videos and I put together all the features here.

Here is what this can do: Measure distance from one point to another (like a tape measure). Measure area. Measure volume. Measure height. Measure distance from one point to another (like the distance from a window to the top of the building). Measure height if you are on a hill.

The great thing about this is it is super easy and quick to use. Measuring the area of my condo literally took only seconds (I have a very rectangular condo). The backlit display makes this super easy to read.
