Target Audience: Any age student who is learning how to write with a slate and stylus
Prerequisite Knowledge: Understanding of the braille letters in their first name as well as a, b, c, x, ch, and the capital indicator
Lesson Plan Goal: The ability to load paper into the slate. The ability to write a, b, c, x, and ch with the abacus. The ability to write their first names with the slate and stylus. The ability to orally name the cells necessary to create randomly selected braille letters using "first side/second side, top, middle, bottom format".
Materials Needed: Access to a physical slate and stylus is recommended.
