A development build is a special version of your Expo app that lets you run any JavaScript from your local development environment, or from an EAS Update. It's a great way to quickly work on your app or distribute updates for testing. This video shows how to create a development build for an Android device/ emulator, iOS simulator, and iOS device with EAS Build. You can also make your dev build locally with `npx expo run:[android|ios]`.
