Starting a 1974 Kawasaki KS125 is a workout that makes CrossFit look easy. After what felt like 100 kicks (but was probably closer to 200), I had a heart-to-heart with the bike. I told it we could do this the easy way, or we could keep playing this game. After a few failed push starts and some choice words, I finally heard that magical rumble. It was like waking a grumpy bear from hibernation. Lesson learned: this bike will start... eventually. Just don't expect it to be easy!
