The Supreme Court of Pakistan, under a bench led by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan, heard multiple petitions related to Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. These included applications seeking cancellation of bail, challenges to convictions in the Toshakhana and cipher cases, NAB-related bail matters, and petitions regarding suspension of sentences. Several of these petitions were declared infructuous due to subsequent convictions or prior relief already granted.

During the hearing, the Supreme Court sought a detailed report on Imran Khan’s jail conditions, facilities, and overall well-being, directing the Attorney General to submit the report. No immediate relief or meeting orders were issued. However, the Court decided to form a three-member bench to hear appeals filed by the prosecution against the acquittal of Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cipher case.

Senior lawyers Latif Khosa, Salman Akram Raja, and Salman Safdar raised serious concerns about delayed hearings, denial of legal access, and the growing number of cases—now exceeding 300—against Imran Khan. They argued that restricted meetings and prolonged delays undermine the right to defense and due process.

The video also discusses whether Qasim Khan and Suleman Khan, Imran Khan’s sons, will be able to travel to Pakistan, as their visa applications remain pending with Pakistan’s Interior Ministry. Additionally, PTI leaders rejected rumors of backdoor negotiations or Imran Khan’s transfer to Bani Gala.

Other key updates include indictments against PTI leaders in an anti-terrorism court, nationwide political pressure, and public outrage following fatal Basant-related incidents in Lahore, which claimed multiple lives.
