How to Fix the Grayed Out Voice-over Microphone Icon in Premiere Pro

In this video, I will show you how to fix the Microphone Recording Issue if it's grayed out. Sometimes, the microphone for voice over option doesn't work when you add a new microphone. To overcome this, you need to click on "edit" and check your preferences before clicking "audio hardware."

Check your "Default Input" and change it to an option that does work.
