Hani Mojtahedy is a Kurdish singer living in Berlin

"Kurds are resilient like mountains" کورد وەک شاخ خۆڕاگرە – (Kurdish proverb)
With approximately 40 million people worldwide, the Kurds are the largest ethnic group without an internationally recognized state. After our festivals 'Female Voice of Iran' and 'Female Voice of Afghanistan' we focus on the Kurdish culture in 2023. We traveled to different regions of Kurdistan and filmed eight singers from the four main regions of Kurdish culture.
