Fehmarn is an island in Germany. It is well known in the kite scene. In the summer the kite spots getting pretty full and more and more kitesurfer visit the island because of the many different spots Fehmarn has to offer. For every wind direction there is a fitting spot, so in the summer we can say it is kind of a kitesurf-paradise. We have waves and flat water spots. I have been lucky because I got the perfect condition for Orth and many of my friends were kiting there as well. It is always good to ride with friends, especially to push the limits. A bit gusty wind but it must be around 20-30 knots.
