The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway Diesel Gala.19th to 22nd June 2025. A collection of footage I took during the gala both from onboard the trains and at the various stations along the route. The 5 mile heritage railway line runs from the mainline station in Keighley to Oxenhope, with intermediate stations of Ingrow West, Damems, Oakworth, Howorth and Oxenhope at the far end of the route.
Turn up the volume some incredible engine sounds particularly the 37s!
Locomotives featured:
Class 47's 47714 & 47715
Class 55, 55009 “Alycidon”
Class 37s, 37057 & 37508
Class 20, 20205
Class 43 HSTs, 43468 & 43484

as well as a few others in the mix.
