-BlackBerry stock is caught up in the momentum trade from the WallStreetBets reddit crowd as of late, pushing the stock up an incredible amount in a short period of time. However, there are some macro tailwinds, such as BlackBerry's Cybersecurity business and their movement into Autonomous Vehicles that help give some rationale to the positive tone of the retail investors, but there are also some fundamental reasons why BlackBerry has not performed well in the past.

-BlackBerry stock is fundamentally seeing little to no revenue growth in the past few years, and that is not a positive thing for an investor. However, BB stock on a valuation of Price/Sales metric is trading extremely cheap compared to its peers such as DataDog or Okta. It is up to investors to determine if this cheap valuation is worthy, or if BlackBerry's growth prospects outweigh the past performance of little to no growth.

Investing in BlackBerry is risky at the moment. There is a lot of momentum in the company at the moment, so we could see large volatility in the next few days because there are likely a lot of traders in the name.
